Vicki Van Cleave, Psy.D.
Vicki Van Cleave, PsyDDr. Van Cleave obtained a baccalaureate of arts in psychology from the University of Colorado—Boulder and a doctorate of professional psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology—Chicago (now Argosy University). She is licensed in Montana, Colorado and Virginia, registered with the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, and is a Certified Imago Therapist and Certified Imago Workshop Presenter. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Virginia & Montana Psychological Associations, American Play Therapy Association, and a member of Imago Relationships International. Dr. Van Cleave is in the process of publishing a children’s book about body image: Thunder Thighs. She has worked in the mental health field since 1985 and has a variety of experience in psychiatric hospitals, department of children and family services, community mental health, private practice, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, running foster care programming, and directing a clinic. She works with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan both in the office, in homes, and within the community. Philosophically Dr. Van Cleave operates from a blended model of existential, client-centered, and systems theories with some cognitive-behavioral techniques to enhance client’s skill base if needed. She believes that the core to healing is through relationship—building and enhancing communication through mirroring, validation, and empathy.

Stanley Lawrence—Skills Trainer & Mentor
Stanley LawrenceMr. Lawrence is a Life Coach and a certified Anger Management Facilitator. He is certified as an instructor to teach fatherhood skills (such as Quenching the Thirst and the 24/7 Dad Series)and African American Marriage Enrichment courses. He assists with the Imago Getting the Love You Want Couples Workshops. In 2009, Mr. Lawrence hopes to add Domestic Violence Offender Intervention classes to the Anger Management Programs. Mr. Lawrence is passionate and committed to helping fathers become better fathers and stronger mates. He specializes in working with military families and African American couples and parents. Mr. Lawrence is currently involved in iPEC Coach training which teaches the Core Energy Coaching process -- an exceptionally deep, transformational coaching process for unlocking human potential. He is a member of the International Coach Federation and abides by their Code of Ethics. He retired from the United States Marine Corp in 2005 after serving the country for 25 years. He's raised 2 successful children-a son and daughter who are now in college.
